Fit Couples

Fit Couples

Studies have shown that most couples that work out together stay together. Some say that when you're in a relationship with someone it's best that the two of you are into similar things such as activities, hobbies, interests etc. Of course each of you will bring different things to the table and be unique in your own way; However we all know that there are certain things that can even destroy a relationship when two people are not on the same page. Here is how living a fit and healthy lifestyle plays into that. If one person is trying to make responsible choices as far as the food that they eat, working out on a regular basis, taking vitamins and or supplements and trying to improve their overall health the purpose of that is to live a fuller and longer life. If the other half of the relationship has absolutely no discipline when it comes to food choices, lifestyle choices, no workout regiment and shows no interest in living a fit and healthy lifestyle then it affects the health of the relationship.  None of us knows what the future holds but no one wants to feel like their significant other won't be around for the long haul.
There are so many health issues that can come from not taking care of our bodies now and more so as we get older. Why wouldn't a person want to do anything that they can to help prevent those future illnesses/diseases?
-Working out with your partner can be fun and exciting!
-You can set fitness goals together and  motivate each other to achieve them.
-Working out can also be thrilling and somewhat arousing with the sweatiness, the shortness of breath, as you watch and admire each movement that is made.
-It is a special time that you can share to increase your bond. Outdoor activities are great for this such as walking, hiking even walking your dog together.
-It increases the overall confidence in the relationship because both of you look good and feel good about yourselves. You also feel good about how you look as a couple.
-You encourage each other
-Improves your sex life cause both of you have more energy
